Premier show held at Lionel Wendt Theatre, Colombo on 16.10.2019 (Cast: Wasantha Vittachchi, Mali Jayaweerage, Udeni Chandrasiri, Tharanga Bandara, Uditha Gunarathna, Upul Mahanama, Channa Kularathna, and others)
• I have composed music for 'Bhuumikaa' drama by Ashoka Handagama 1983. Won the Youth Award for Best Music (1984), Youth Council, Ministry of Youth Affairs.
• I have composed music with another colleague for 'Hena' drama by Ashoka Handagama.
• I have composed music for a lot of Short Dramas from 1983 [Awroraa, Dandana Kandawura, Yathaarthvaadiyaata Abhiyogayak, Paraposhita].

• Visual Management System (University Site Map and Nomenclature)- as the Team Coordinator, I have developed a Visual Management System (University Site Map and Nomenclature) voluntarily. (with four other team members, i. e. Dr. Hemantha Sirisena [Dept. of Modern Languages], Mr. Jayantha Munasinghe [Dept. of Mathematics], Mr. Nishan Sakalasooriya [Dept. of Geography], Mr. Jayantha Kalansooriya [Academic Division]) This was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor on 14th May 2007. This project is the only Visual Management System (University Site Map and Nomenclature) implemented in a Sri Lankan University that guides visitors and the university community to every location within the university premises. In November 2007, our University site map was uploaded to the home page of the University Web (www.kln.ac.lk).
• Organized Hindi Divas a North Indian Cultural Program on 14th February 2007 at the University of Kelaniya.
  Organized Hindi Film Festival in collaboration with the High Commission of India from 22nd–26th January 2007, at the University of Kelaniya, and published a souvenir.
• As a member of the Arts Council of the University of Kelaniya organized various programs with other members from 2005 to date. As a Co-Editor, I initiated KALAA DIIPANII magazine as well.
• Created and organized SAANDHY GEET-an evening of Hindi Poetry, Music and Dance to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Hindi as an Official Language of India in collaboration with the Indian Cultural Centre and the High Commission of India on 16th March 2000. I composed music for several songs. This programm was also held at the University of Kelaniya on 03rd April 2000.
• Organized an Indian Film Festival in collaboration with the High Commission of India from 22nd–26th March 1999, at the University of Kelaniya and published a souvenir.
• Organized a seminar to mark the Golden Jubilee of Independence of Sri Lanka and India and the 40th Anniversary of the University of Kelaniya at the University of Kelaniya on Hindi Studies in collaboration with the High Commission of India, Colombo–24th March 1998. Papers were presented by distinguished scholars from Lucknow University, India, and Sri Jayawardhanepura University in this seminar. The 1st volume of H I N D I Journal of which I was the Chief Editor, was launched on this day.
• Introduced a Hindi Wall Magazine 'Jhankaar', 1998.
• I initiated the Bhaaratiiya Sanskrutika Sittam (a series of Hindi films and documentaries) at the Department of Hindi Studies from 1996 to disseminate the knowledge of Indian Culture.
• I initiated and established an Audio-Visual Collection at the Library of our department with the help of the High Commission of India from 1995. Now we have classical Indian Films, Documentaries, Voice of Indian people in various modes i. e. Video tapes, Audio tapes, CDs, DVDs, etc. Our students and academic staff members use this collection for their research purposes.
